simon is clearly dl bi/gay (subtextually). even before he got powers he was "different". he was bullied for being "different". he is "artisitic". these are all buzzwords for GAY. "i hope you find someone who you can trust" and that person is clearly travor. their scenes alone are INTIMATE. they see and get each other in a way no one ever has before outside of family (their moms). the fact that simon sees travor as an actor and not a terrorist always amzes travor. "you know that movie? you saw that show" everyone only knows/sees him as the mandarin. simon sees him as a great man. a love story for the ages that disney is too whack to be upfront about so its alll subtext

2026-01-29 23:17:25 +0000 UTCMan, after watching this series, Marvel should do a team up film with all of Destin Daniel Cretton’s Marvel Characters: Shang-Chi, Wonder Man, and Spider-Man. That would be such a fun film. :)
