Not sure if Kristen and Michael will read this but I just wanted to point out that Aegon's dream/prophecy being called A Song of Ice and Fire is not fan servicy, it's actually the name of the book series GOT is based off of. The events of GOT is really just the prophecy being fulfilled so if anything, Sam calling the book A Song of Ice and Fire would be the fan servicing part for those who spent many many hours reading the book series lol. Can't wait to watch the rest of the series with you guys!

Also, Vicerys was given two options, let them both die, or try to save the baby. Aemma was lost either way. Also, many plot points and characters are part of the GoT writers historical accounts of the Targeryn household, combined with input from GRRM directly. It's less of an attempt to pay fan service to reference A song of ice and fire, and more a matter of telling you the actual history of the kings and their original motives. Much of this was written and\or conceived before GRRM has even finished the game of thrones book series so it technically came first.

The princess Shireen Baratheon told Stannis before he burned here alive about the story of the civil war where Rhaenyra is involved, and King Joffrey also tells Margaery Tyrell about what happens to her. So there are some clues. Just remember that season 1 will be to ground the storyline and season 2 will build things up for season 3! where we all are waiting to summer 2026 where all hell will break loose, but now in january comes the new show: A Night of the Seven Kingdoms around 100 years before GOT.
