She started doing this back at Gemini IX in 1966. 2. Fred got sick with a urinary tract infection. This was actually a common thing to happen to astronauts of that program. 3. Marilyn's "If you don't like that you can take it up with my husband" line was real and she actually said it. 4. She did lose her ring in a hotel shower. 5. There were 4 teams that ran the mission. White, Blue, Red and Gold. Gene was on the white team and once the accident happened, lead a team of specialized engineers called "Tiger Team". 6. Despite what the movie showed, there was never any doubt in Jack Swigerts ability. 7. This is brief but Jim mentions the "Barbeque Roll". This was a maneuver that rotated the spacecraft that prevented one side from getting too hot from staying in the sun for too long. Farewell Jim Lovell, A loving husband and father, a hero, legend and true pioneer. You will be missed, and never forgotten.
