TABS: LAKE WINDS

Tuning is DADGAE and has signature 75527. I'm not tuned to a D in my original Lake Winds video.

The first number of the signature of a tuning tells you what fret on the 6th string makes it the same tone as the open 5th string, and the second number tells you what fret on the 5th string makes it the same tone as the open 4th string etcetera.

As of this upload I still have to make a DADGAE tuning tutorial.

This tabs, nor my playing of the piece, are very precise on the unmutes...

TABS: BLACK MOLD BLUES

So there is a 0h1 simultaneous with two 1s2's. In my mind the 0h1 feels more like a slide, use my video for reference.

Remember H3 means third harmonic (5th fret) but this is just two octaves above the open string. You can play an open string instead if you struggle with the harmonic, I used to play it that way.

So this tab (nor my playing of the piece) is very strict on exactly which strings you strum but you should broadly follow the tab.

If you hit some extra unmutes on the first adn second strings then that's totally okay.

Aim to hit the notes as indicated on the tabs while strumming. If you hit some unmutes it’s no problem (because the piece is in E minor which contains the first four strings, DGBE, anyway)

You might have noticed already but the empty spaces are there so that the dashes correspond to the correct timings so these tabs are true to the piece in terms of rests and all.

s’s are slides and b’s are bends (/ for up and \ for down)

My first percussive Song tutorial!

My pants are still dirty from filing the guitar board to make it do board scratches hahah.

Been putting this off because it is very painful to take some that is all muscle memory and break it open. I realized in this video that I dont think about which notes not to play but rather about which notes to emphasize (put the intonation on). I subconsciously leave out notes and strums as a result of that intonation.

TUNING: CGDGA#D

Minor Inconvenience and Flarmonics and Hazers use this tuning among others.

TABS: FLARMONICS AND HAZERS

H1 means first harmonic (12th fret) and H3 means third harmonic (5th fret)

H2 btw would be the second harmonic (7th fret)

I will do a tutorial on this CGDGA#D tuning soon. Also the version from the video from november 8 2024 starts with three H3 third harmonics on the 1st, 2nd and third strings.
