There will not be a new Aquaman in the new DCU with Jason Mamoa, but James Gunn is still using Jason Momoa in the DCU. Jason will now be portraying Lobo and he will first appear as Lobo in Supergirl, which honestly is character that is more suited for him than Aquaman, and he looks exactly like the character from the comic.
