2025-02-24 05:00:23 +0000 UTCYou have to take the thinking that the MCU movies are the events as laid out and there is no changing when someone dies. If you try to replace someone who has died with one from these other branches, it isn't the same person and they have proven they aren't removing stakes by replacing people who have died. Technically, this isn't our Loki as our Loki died at the hands of Thanos... though this is probably the closest to that one since he got pulled out of essentially the same timeline. He did have amazing growth and it is sad that Sylvie couldn't get past her hang ups yet (she has been on the run for over a thousand years and mostly living in doomed locations which is probably going to harden your heart a bit), but at least she didn't kill him. He Who Remains (Kang) is an amazing re-occurring villain in the comic books. Most of the time, I don't think it is the same Kang in each one that shows up with so many different variations. I was blown away by Jonathan Majors performance in this episode and I have loved his acting in other projects, it is just so sad what he has done that forced Marvel's hand in letting him go and changing their story plans. I kind of believe the red line threshold with a timeline branching off is where a new Kang potentially comes into play. I haven't dipped into season 2 yet, which may explain things further. Probably will do that soon and can't wait for you to get to them.
