Wesley is not the money man that Vladimir told Matt about...the older guy - Leland Owlsey- the one who said he needed to get his stun gun is Leland. Also not sure what you mean about Claire being masculine and overpowering Matt....I think Claire is assertive and realistic for what she wants. She is falling for Matt but she is also the only one who has seen this darker more dangerous side of Matt....and although he is badass and cool, his dangerous side is scary. The Daredevil side of Matt is a very scary world to live in, so seeing how much Matt is embracing and enjoying his life as Daredevil is scaring Claire. Also you have to remember this is New York, so a woman of color growing up in NY and also being an emergency room nurse, she has learned to see through bullshit and not take any bullshit either. She isn't one to sugar coat anything or let Matt get away with behaviors that scare her. Moreover, Matt to me is lying to himself...I think he is doing this whole vigilante thing for justice and to save people and to be a good person but there is also the side of him...that he spoke about in the first episode of "letting the devil out," where I think Matt truly enjoys this life. The life of violence and danger...he has been overlooked and underestimated and abandoned for most of his life, so for him to be powerful and be feared on the streets by so many criminal elements must make him feel powerful and strong, something that we have seen in his past he rarely felt. I do find that Matt also very soft spoken, but when he does speak there is a harshness to his words.... I think his Matt Murdock/ lawyer side is really his alter ego, his true self is more his Daredevil persona. So his soft spoken and reserved nature is the real mask, hiding the simmering anger and violent persona underneath. This is why I think Charlie Cox is such an incredible actor because he really shows two completely different sides to 1 character but make it feel totally natural and believable...like at no time do I feel like Matt/Daredevil are two different people. The layers and depth of Matt Murdock is insane...there aren't may superhero characters in the MCU that I feel have as much depth as he does.

I dont think claire overshadows matt at all. if anything it feels to me that claire treats matt more like an equal than most other characters in the show. also saying matt has a weak tone also doesn't make sense to me. No hate, no hate. just confused about the reaction.
