2024-09-26 00:28:54 +0000 UTCMy favorite autobot growing up was Cliffjumper, who sadly gets destroyed in this film … I haven’t seen the newest Transformers film out in theaters now but as someone who grew up playing with the toys and watching the cartoon, this is my favorite live action film in the franchise. It had good action, a decent story, and lots of heart. The Bay films are fun in their own way but suffer from his personal touches whereas this film wasn’t about stamping the film with one person’s love of filming during golden hour, slow motion military maneuvers with an American flag blowing in the wind, or a rotating cast of supermodels. Bumblebee is about the connection between two characters and how that connection heals each of them … set amidst a robot space war. 😃
