If you want to see another great crime drama with Robert DeNiro, I highly recommend Once Upon a Time in America The Director’s Cut. If you watch the theatrical cut one of the worst films ever made, watch the Director’s Cut one of the best films made the 80’s. Reason for the difference is that The Studio made the Director cut down his 3 hour 49 minute Final Cut of his crime drama to about half that. Later on he came out with the Director’s Cut and that’s the Cut they show more often now, but if you see the theatrical cut just ignore it and look for the 3 hour 49 minute director’s cut of the film.
