2024-03-08 20:23:59 +0000 UTCI think I agree with Jaby about the blocking in that scene, although I hadn't thought about that before he mentioned it. I guess I was just so wrapped up in the scene that I didn't notice it was a bit static. This isn't really an excuse for a big budget HBO show, but I'm guessing it was a technical issue where it was seriously difficult to do the blocking in a more complex way because they're on a real balcony with 2 actors and 2 cameras and their operators and whoever else is needed and so that just didn't leave much space for the actors to move around.
