You were talking about your favorite Christmas films for me my top 5 are old classics from the 40’s and 50’s. Got to checkout: Going My Way (1944), It’s a Wonderful Life (1946), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), White Christmas (1954), and The Lemon Drop Kid (1951). Just something more magical with those older Christmas films. I think the writing is tighter in those films and the black and white cinematography in four out of the five films is spectacular and the one that is not and is designed to be color (White Christmas) is absolutely vibrant, bright and beautiful on the cinematography. Highly recommend these five.
