That beach scene is from the movie From Here to Eternity. It was the real life movie that The Godfather referenced about the Producer who would not give the singer a chance. The actress that spoke Jive was Barbara Billingsley, who was most famous as playing the mom in the 50's sitcom Leave it to Beaver. Needless to say, the first time I saw this movie I died when she started speaking "Jive".
