Listening to this awakened a dim memory for me of the art house version of White Chicks, which is the 1993 movie Suture. Guy gets disfigured in a car crash, has amnesia, and they reconstruct his face thinking he's his brother. The rest of the movie hinges on everyone thinking he's his brother. But here's the thing: one is black, and the other is white, and even without that they don't look similar. There are scenes where people will comment on specific features which the actor on screen clearly doesn't have. It's definitely a conscious choice, reinforced by the movie being in black and white. But I'm not sure what commentary it's trying to make, so the result is just really jarring and weird. So now I had to remember that again and it's basically your fault
