PM Basu has uncanny similarities with a certain politican of our country and the actress absolutely nailed her mannerisms. For us Indians that character of the PM was damn relatable since we know the actual person on whom the character is based on. I dont expect Jaby to understand that, but I didnt expect to criticize her acting either.

2021-06-11 13:54:13 +0000 UTCI feel the character of PM Basu is meant to represent how Indian (and I daresay, international) politicians who reach high posts view themselves - as benevolent fathers or mothers of the nation. But in reality they are narcissists and megalomaniacs, for whom their ego, their image and their place in history is more important than the dignity of their post. And to satisfy that ego, common sense is often made the victim.

Because you guys didn’t recognise Sajid from S1...things seem unclear to you. For most of us, seeing Sajid was behind the fake bf (Kalyan aka Salman) in the first episode was a big reveal.
