To give you background on this. Mumbai is financial capital of India. There are lots of migrant workers from other states come to Mumbai for Jobs. Locals feel like migrants are stealing job, invading the culture and not adapting to the local culture. There are political parties supporting locals but they are hardly doing anything to empower the local youth and using local youth for their political agendas. In the movie boy is local and girl is migrant.
