BIGFEETS Episode 9: Hillbilly vs. Hillbilly

The Bigfeet Boys watch Season 1, Episode 9 of Mountain Monsters: The Yahoo of Nicholas County. Some hillbilly pride was deeply wounded in the making of this episode.

The "cartoon character" rationale for always wearing the same outfits was applied at least once in live action. On "Adventures of Superman," Clark, Lois, Jimmy, and Perry always wore the same suits. This was so they could use their footage in any episode if necessary. Have you seen any shots of wild Bill where the hill he's falling down looks strangely familiar?

I too kept thinking Yahoo of Nicholas Cage. That would be such a fun movie...

Any of you folks ever play Fallout 76? It's basically Mountain Monsters the RPG. Once you leave your fancy Vault, you find yourself in a ruined Appalachia filled with various kinds of Prospectors, Hobos, Lunatics, and Homesteaders. Also insane robots. Lots of insane robots. A large amount of the game revolves around hunting the Cryptids of Appalachia, often in the most deranged way possible. Snallygasters, Sheepsquaches, a whole Festival built around Mothman! There's a giant blue werewolf/Hellhound, Grafton Monsters, and Flatwoods Monsters! To the best of my knowledge, the AIMS Team has yet to deploy Flaming Chainsaws and cobbled together doomsday devices, but I haven't seen all the episodes yet, so I assume it's only a matter of time. After all, they DO have that Magic Axe.....

Possibly a joke for no-one but Seanbaby, but Wild Bill seems to have turned himself into Gourmand from Wild Kratts. Brockway’s impression was even close to the voice in the cartoon.

I'm only 25 minutes in and I've already died twice between the Shaq/towel bit and "You own a 'clothes.'"

I still think it's gin-singing, which have I assumed means "getting hammered in the woods".
