2023-11-17 12:33:17 +0000 UTCI feel like every young creative forum in the early 2000's had their version of this guy. I know on gamedev forums every now and then we'd have someone burst in and announce themselves as the project lead/CEO of their own studio. They'd post a scattershot of paid job ads that made it clear that they had zero understanding of what they were trying to accomplish. Everything they'd post would be this wild mix of imitation press release meets increasingly bitter teenage libertarian. Within a month they'd be stomping around trying to get random kids blacklisted from the entire industry and arguing with literally everyone who interacted with them. It was so magical watching someone formally announce that after three days of development their 2D action RPG will now be a Team Deathmatch FPS, while calling their former lead programmer every slur imaginable and peppering in as many TMs, Cs and disclaimers as possible because they're a legitimate company that MUST be taken seriously.
