i would suggest a general discussion on movies itself ; probably like the most underrated & overrated movies, best foreign films(like memories of murder, the secret in their eyes and others),best movies probably based on different genres. The same can be done for TV series too. And yeah whether or not Ross and Rachel were on a break.

2018-09-14 11:56:49 +0000 UTCAs I grew up, I saw many of really good Mayalayam movies, where the story was never fully concluded and a lose thread is left for the audience to guess/complete at their own will. The closest I can say is the one in inception where the totem keeps rotating, and it is left for audience to guess whether it was real or a dream! :). This style expects lot more maturity and thought from audience. I found that most Bollywood movies chose to end the movie with a clear message (nothing to think about). Do you have any opinion between these two styles?

My neighbours two daughters (2.5y old and 5y old) visit my home often and my mother put songs for them on TV. These are, more often than not, item songs as it is what gets more views on TV. I feel the next generation is getting brainwashed in bad way. :(

I was wondering on the the importance of portrayal of minorities in cinema.. and how that helps mould social attitudes in popular culture I myself became more aware of minority issues through cinema, for example.. made me a better person. Would like to hear your take.

When did pseudo - religious practices became bigger than humanity, when clearly all religions talk about same thing in their holy scripts: Love - Peace & Brotherhood. Topic discussion could focus esp on: What & how much does the movies like 'PK' & 'Oh My God' make impact in terms of tranforming people's behaviour and mindsets?
