Feat. their HUGE huggable pretty Goodra girl OC, Taroba! Her most interesting characteristic is that her belly and torso is sort of transparent, and in side her there's a lot of boba tea! and it's the coolest thing I've seen on a character so far lol.
These were all the steps followed to create the lastest reward:
- 1- Scrapped sketch: This sketch was actually made AFTER the sketch on the next step, I had decided to make this one just in case the original wasn't "thicc" enough after looking back at the references I was given, however, Tibs was cool with the other sketch I had made and went with it, putting this one away.
- 2- Sketch: I made this sketch very fast, mostly because I'm used to draw big girls a lot, not gonna lie. The proportions were looking delightful on first try to me so honestly I felt pretty accomplished with this work so far.
- 3- Lineart: With the sketch done, I moved on to the clean lines and details, I didn't follow the sketch exactly as it was but rather kinda tried to improve on it. This is mostly noticeable on the big tail behind her. (I also added the lil straw ^^)
- 4- Flat Colors: With the lines done, I fill them all with the colors needed for the design. Following the colors shown in the references of course.
- 5- Gradients: In this stage I added all the dark and light gradients to all the colors as always. However, I took the time to put some extra layers to add the internal transparent boba tea effect inside of her. It was a little tough but I managed to make it look decent.
- 6- Shading: I add 3 colored layers with their proper settings for the shadows and highlights, it's important to note I kinda sorta inverted the shading done for the transparent parts on her chest to fully sell the idea they're transparent.
- 7- Lighing effects: In this part I add several glow effects and color corrections to make the picture look much more polished and nicer to look at! while also giving the impression she's kind of in an actual environment even though there's no background.
- 8- Env. Shadows: In this last step I draw the environmental shadows for her body and the floor!
