Enzo is such a 🥱 boring character and the accent doesn’t make a boring character with boring motivations interesting.

Stefan came a long way since season one, he definatelly matured, he is more self assured, and around Caroline he is much lighter, no more broody, He came to term with his issues with his brother, had a taste of it would be life without Damon and didn't like it one bit. He discover that he should waist his time in regrets and guilt, that doesn't take him anywere. So he finally turn page and at the end of it find Caroline, wonderful Caroline that has always been there for him that is a great person to love, to love out of choice, out of real feelings, not because you need something out of it but just because loving someone that brings the best out of you is such a great feeling. Their banters are adorable and I love how tender he is with her. That is such an enormously different Stefan, from season one Stefan.

2022-07-02 20:21:29 +0000 UTCKat Graham is such a great actress, they give lots of drama, because they know she can pull it off she can carry a dramatic scene and make you feel what the character feels very powerfully. Also who doesn't enjoy Kai craziness, his battle with a new sense of counciousness. Yes he helped this time but he is still crazy. The point of TVD is that they never write characters to be monodimentional, they always are the heros of their own story, nobody is totally black or white and that what makes characters interesting. Regarding Damon and Elena, this episode stated clerly that they were meant to be. They are what he an her want in their life, because no matter what they always find the way back to each other, because their love in not due to external circumstances, it is due to the way they are and what they want in life, you can erase memories of thinga that happened that doesn't change who you are and what you want. Their being together is an act of concious, adult, mature choice because you cannot stop loving what you as an adult decide to choose to love on a base of who you are, of you life preferences, what suits your personality, what makes you happy. And that is another great TVD insight on what adult love is or should be.

2022-07-02 20:08:05 +0000 UTCI give this episode a 9! The highlights for me in this episode are - Jeremy: I love how much growth you can see in Jeremy in this episode. It's like he grew up and became a man in one episode and it's bitter-sweet that he's contemplating leaving to art school - Bonnie: Literally every scene, but especially the last scene when she drives off to secure her freedom from the prison world. Idk the song and her presence made it so powerful - Liv/Jeremy/Kai fight scene: Seeing the Parkers use magic was cool and all but Jeremy kicking Liv's ass and dragging Kai to finish the spell was *chefs kiss* for me hahaha - Delena: enough said
