Ughh... I tear up every time I see Dean kiss Jo on the forehead. I know it’s coming, but it breaks my heart.💔 To go off of what Linda said, I think Jensen is so underrated as an actor. He has the best facial expressions whether it’s funny or heartbreaking. The man should be getting awards for his work. I’m looking forward to him joining the cast of the TV show The Boys for season 3

But I know you're not alone in feeling like the characters weren't used to their full potential, and I can see that too, and agree. I would have liked to see more of them throughout the seasons for sure. Though, I feel like then their deaths would have been even harder on me! 😞 I think the fact that they "died for nothing" because the Colt didn't work was absolutely the point the writers were going for though. It adds to the magnitude of Lucifer's power and makes it even more daunting for the boys, adds a sense of hopelessness to the situation. But I don't think they died for nothing. They went out fighting, and they eliminated something off the board. Okay, we know the Colt won't work. What's our next step? Anyway, thanks for the conversation! 😊

2022-05-06 13:20:51 +0000 UTCLinda I thought about it and tbh I think this episode is maybe too personal for me cause besides Cass they were my favorite secondary characters and their deaths happened for nothing cause colt didn't work imo but again I know some of the Fandom when it was live that was pissed over it me included cause of the missed opportunities their characters could have been to the show going forward. 2022-05-05 23:07:09 +0000 UTCHaven't had the chance to watch your reaction yet - but I'm looking forward to it. This episode is absolutely heartbreaking, and very tough to watch because of it. It's a beautiful, well-written and well-acted episode, imo. But I pretty much only re-watch it with reactors because it's really hard to watch. I'll edit this post when I finally get the chance to watch it. Edit: Absolutely loved your reaction. Couple random things that popped into my head while watching: 1. As soon as we found out that Jo wasn't gonna make it, I 100% knew we were gonna lose Ellen too. I knew she wouldn't leave Jo's side. 🥺 2. Crowley is a VERY enjoyable character. 3. Season 5 is an amazing season, for sure! 4. The kiss between Jo and Dean never fails to rip open my little Jo/Dean shipping heart. There was just so much regret in that moment from both of them, so much "what might have been" and it's excruciating! 5. Mark Pellegrino is the actor who plays Lucifer and he is FABULOUS in the role. 6. Dean's face when he realizes Meg has hellhounds with her, always makes me want to cry. The fear and trauma on his face - Jensen plays it so subtly, but so beautifully. 7. I believe they burned the picture at the end, as a way to give them a "hunter's funeral" since they didn't have bodies to put on a pyre. 😞 Can't wait for the next one!

Most of the fandom definitely does NOT hate Kripke (that's a you opinion) and while it's true Kripke did always see the boys as the centre of the show (which they absolutely are) he didn't hate other characters or refuse to keep other characters on the show. Not sure where you came up with this from, but I vehemently disagree.

However it is well known in the Fandom that Eric Kripke Wanted Them Gone So that the story would remain Sam And Dean and not have extra's take any attention away from them. Which He Believed Was starting to happen. This is why to this day most of the SPN Fandom Hate Kripke.
