I love Caroline so much, she's come so far and she's so intriguing! + her new friendship with Stefan I LOVE IT♡ Katherine is back, she took a break you know went to the spa, chilled a little bit, gathered some strength to come back and fuck shit up ya know, the usual. Jk I'm glad she's back I've been missing her kinda but I'm sure my feelings will change soon.... aaarrgggh

Well looking forward to your reaction and the Flashbacks then of episode 4, with how much you love flashbacks. The problem with TVD, it's a difficult show not to binge when you first start watching it, you just want to keep moving to the next episode. Hell, it's difficult not to binge during rewatches.

Also, the pairing of Caroline and Stefan is funny, especially after Stefan just shut her down so matter of fact in the Pilot episode. So you just don't see it coming. The music selection is always spot on for sure and just really adds to the scene when realize how well song selection contributes to the depth of it. What they do with the music is nothing short of amazing. It's one of things you start to appreciate more during rewatches of the show that you don't pick up right away at times.

I didn't think about what Anna said to Jeremy but it's true!! not that I didn't think Katherine had an agenda before but now that I remember it's just so obvious that she wants something from Caroline and she didn't just change her to mess with Elena and everyone! I agree with you, it was a great idea on their part to keep it as simple and logical as possible, people will still be watching this 20 years from now and nothing will be unreal to them so that's awesome!! :)

2021-04-17 20:29:05 +0000 UTCOne thing I appreciate about this show is the fact that everything is kept as real as possible, no gimmicky prostatic stuff that might look cool in a certain period but a couple of decade later when technology advance in the special effects it makes special effect from the past look so dated and borderline ridiculous. I am a Buffy appreciator too still, but the vampires, werewolf and supernatural creature there now look so fake and cringing. Here no, they are keeping things as real and minimalistic as possible that makes their special effects also in regards of werewolf transformations (that we haven’t seen yet) very realistic. They always answer to the reality question, how it would be have a rush of blood hunger that makes your brain go numb to reality making you a predator? And that is the Vampire look, on their face, with the veins around their eyes, the teeth etc. that is there it’s scary but could still be strangely beautiful. Or how would it be to make a physical change from human to wolf? And still make it look, not Teen Wolf, of Buffy cringing but realistic? I love Caroline as a vampire even more. She definitely, made Matt split up with her on purpose, to protect him. Her and Stefan are so cute, she manage to bring out of him a fun side, we never get to see but with her. Their friendship is gold. And Katherine showing up in her bedroom.....what does she wants from her? If we go back to what Anna said to Jeremy in regards of reasons for turning people into vampires’ rules, there are reasons for concern, most certainly she has an agenda. Damon is very charming and is pretty much difficult to stay mad at him. But Elena has serious reasons to be angry at him that made her little manipulation of Damon understandable. But Damon, being maliciously manipulated by Katherine and screwed over time and time again by people, is very sensitive to manipulation and that is understandable too. Great reaction, I can't wait to share the rest of season two, you'll love it.

2021-04-17 16:00:08 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes, even though it may appear not lots is going on, there is in many cases, as it's a character building episode. I absolutely love Caroline's look as you mentioned in these early episodes of Season 2. It's actually my favorite look for her, the straight hair and the more profound make up around her eyes is a stunning look for her and screams a certain confidence and maturity for her character. Also the scenes between her and Stefan are great, and I love how Caroline teases Stefan about his vampire face, while Stefan smiles over Caroline's situation and her personality. Road Trip # 2 with Damon and Elena Duke, North Carolina Yet, we see some important things, all started with kissing Stefan, to make Damon jealous. In the previous episode we see Elena save Damon, this episode we see Damon save Elena. The road trip ends though with one thing Damon being real and honest with Elena and offering a sincere apology about what he did. This is the song that plays at the end during the scene: "Ashes and Wine" by Fine Frenzy. Don't know what to do anymore I've lost the only love worth fighting for And I'll drown in my tear storming sea That would show you That would make you hurt like me All the same I don't want mud-slinging games It's just a shame To let you walk away Is there a chance A fragment of light At the end of the tunnel A reason to fight? That's why Caroline couldn't pick a random piece of jewelry she already had. Stefan mentioned his ring was made of Lapis Lazuli way back in the beginning of season 1.
