Happy Monday!

What a week it's been. I've been hammering away at the story renders and glad to say they're finally rendered! As I was processing the previous renders, I noticed there was a 30 shot gap. So I threw those into queue and got them rendered out this week. Placing Chapter 2 at a total of 3,018 story renders. There may be more as I expect to add some shots where I feel a certain piece of dialogue needs it. Sometimes a piece of dialogue needs those specific renders. CH1 had a scene where 4 renders slipped through the cracks and weren't added. This dramatically shifted the tone of the scene for many, although I felt the one expression may have gotten the point across. However, I was wrong and several took this particular scene the wrong way. So, I'll be adding shots I feel are necessary as I continue arranging the renders in the code. However, I'm not talking about hundreds of additional renders. And there may be no additional needed at all.

But now that the story renders are completed for the most part, I'll be shifting focus on wrapping up the remaining animations. Now that my main PC is freed up, I can double the rendering efforts so they can be completed faster. I'll also be going through the soundtrack this week. With 26 scenes in CH2. That's 26 new licensed tracks at the least. I'm doing something new with the playlist this chapter, so the amount of music will be doubled or tripled  that number. I'll also be working on better compression while maintaining the quality best I can. CH1 featured about 70ish tracks, which added about 400MB to the file size alone. I'll do my best to bring the number down as much as I can. I'm also still making minor tweaks to some of the dialogue. Also the script will be going through a proofreader, so we can expect much less spelling/grammar errors this time!

Just played Artemis last night and all I can say is WOW you push ahead of most dev's who sacrifice quality for well everything else, but your story, animations, backgrounds are damn good. Now the negatives by the end of ch 1 I only feel invested in the MC, right now as a character dj kink is the genie to his Aladdin she's the comic relief, swearing & sex talk are great but I felt closer to her character when the MC flashed back on her and the photo with both + puppy. But its an easy fix this is just ch 1 we need ch 2 ..lol to give us more of her. Other then that I had some issues with the game lagging some parts were a little choppy. But other then that everything I experienced told me to pay the dev for all that hard work. Please don't think I'm just dumping on you I believe you are putting out a quality game better then 90% of the others, if ch2 is only just as good as the first it still lands in my top 3 fav games.

I set a reminder for myself to reply to this when I release chapter 2. Some have speculated things and I’d hate to mention anything before the release. I’ll ping you on Discord about the scene a few days after release though.
