Poll #512 - Entrope Adventure Locations

Hey friends,

I'm about to start writing the one-shot adventures for this month in Dungeons/Lairs style. The last poll had entrope winning as the featured monster. But where should it be?

1. The Boneworks Substation

A decommissioned necromantic power hub beneath the city streets, filled with tangled pipes, soul-reactive crystals, and failed containment tanks. An Entrope has begun corroding the ley-seals, drawing in elemental filth from other planes.

2. The Salt-Spire Baths

A ruined public bathhouse once fueled by elemental steam and sacred brine. Now, the water flows backward, salt encrusts the walls, and unstable vents open into foreign planes. The Entrope lurks in the boiler chamber, feeding on the pressure gates.

3. The Warded Mirrorhall

A once-grand planar embassy turned into a crumbling hall of warped reflections. As mirrors begin to fracture inward, elemental light leaks through the cracks. The Entrope has coiled behind the central pane, devouring the architecture’s planar logic.

4. The Flooded Archive

A hidden city library sealed after a planar flood. Now half-submerged and slick with glassy mold, its corridors warp with airless bubbles and gravity surges. The Entrope pulses in the archive's heart, rewriting spells and laws of physics.

5. The Smoldering Forge-Yard

An industrial quarter abandoned after elemental contamination melted half its tools. The Entrope lingers in the slag pits, where fire clashes with ash, generating rifts and reshaping metal into maddeningly organic forms.

6. The Cracked Observatory

This shattered tower was once used to chart planar alignments. Now it hangs precariously over a cliffside, its equipment scorched and uncalibrated. The Entrope chews through the hollowed lens-chamber, leaking chaos into the stars it once studied.

7. The Sewn Market Vaults

Beneath a bustling planar bazaar lies a sealed merchant crypt, where smugglers kept forbidden wares. Now the vaults shiver and stink of burned salt. The Entrope is digesting reality in slow pulses, twisting locked doors into weeping membranes.

8. The Skybridge Tenements

A narrow residential district perched between spires—walls melting, gravity stuttering. The Entrope has infiltrated the plumbing and corroded space itself, collapsing rooms into each other and letting gusts of alien elements pour in.

9. The Forgotten Tramline

Once a portal-linked train route, now choked in rust and phantom wind. An Entrope gnaws at the ancient track-joints, splitting them into quaking elemental fractures. The tram might be coaxed to move again—but through what planes?

10. The Fractured Chapel Row

A once-sacred street of shrines and death cults, now mostly ruins. One chapel remains sealed and humming. Inside, an Entrope has fused worship, faith, and entropy, opening tiny rifts that whisper elemental heresies into passersby.

Comments

I already ran my players through an observatory otherwise that would have been my choice. So, based on the other options, I went with tenements

Since I do the books in b/w it’s more practical to use Dyson. I do DungeonScribe

DM Dave

Do you use Tom Cartos for maps anymore or are you using Dyson on l y?
