Something I’ve found that works for me is crawling into bed at a reasonable time with a book/tablet/laptop/sketchbook etc. That way I can give my mind something to do and let myself wind down. And already being in my bed seems to help my mind to slow down and want to sleep. Otherwise I’m up all night having an epic battle with my brain over why it won’t just turn off....
