They/Them is my guess, anyway. It's hard to know since there are plenty people who identify as nonbinary that go by He/They or even He/Him, but the game doesn't seem prepared to have that conversation. IDK if I'd assume it's "deliberately cruel," since Ray's backstory is actually sympathetic, but it feels like both the original Chinese developers and the team that handled the localization were out of touch with what they were presenting.

Thanks for not going along with that.
