Suspend Fallout for Halloween to vote for a horror game?

It's almost October! At least in terms of how far I need to plan ahead.

So! In case you're new here, back in October 2017 I decided to play Silent Hill as a little nod to Halloween. When October 2018 rolled around I figured it was the perfect opportunity to play Silent Hill 2, and have it be an annual tradition, but I also stacked some other horror games on top.

Fast forward to now, and I've now played the first SIX Silent Hill games. We last played Homecoming, so this year Shattered Memories is the plan. That's the only thing set in stone, the rest undecided.

At this point each October I take a bat to the kneecaps of my planned schedule to force as many horror-themed games in as I can. So here's where I figure out how many shows are going to conveniently end in time, or that I can put on hiatus for the month to make way for some (thankfully short and easy to finish in October) horror games.

Looking at our schedule, we just conveniently reached an ending of Termina (which will air October 2nd), so I'm thinking of taking a break from that for the sake of the event (even though Funger is arguably pretty horror). I'm pretty sure Zelda is going to skip October, so much so that when I scheduled the last episodes I recorded (six weeks ago), I scheduled them for November. That's two slots!

I don't think I want to touch the visual novels. They're already competing for space with each other, and I literally started Echo during last year's Halloween event. I don't want to make people wait more lol. Fingers crossed that Heaven's Vault ends in time for a third slot freed up. I don't know yet, I need to record a bunch of that this week. If that happens we have a decent showing for Halloween, Sun-Fri at 11am PST.

But here's the question! Do we want to do a patreon nominated game, restricted to horror games? We could put Fallout on break for the month and do a proper vote again. You know, for old time's sake?

Cons: Fallout New Vegas takes even longer to end

Pros: More robust Halloween event, and we have our first new proper Patreon vote since, and I can't stress this enough, MARCH. It took a lot of scrolling for me to check haha

Do people even remember how this process works anymore? The $15 tier nominates games. They can pick anything, within reason (but in this case it would be horror-only, a themed restriction). Then once the list is generated, everyone votes, and I play the winner.
