Final Fantasy XIV vs Satisfactory: What Should I Play With Andrew Next?

Andrew and I are on track to hit the level cap in World of Warcraft next week, at which point those characters are probably going in stasis until Shadowlands comes out. So the question is, what should we play next? I suggested two games to Andrew that he was equally cool with, so we figured we'd put it up to a vote.

You may remember Satisfactory because Bird and I already played it a while back. A lot of funny conversations came out of it, but our base was a disastrous noodle mess and performance issues eventually made the game unplayable. We kind of took a look at update 2 but didn't get especially far.

I'm looking to do a season 2 with Andrew where we start over and take the game a bit more seriously, trying to make a base that works and "beats" the game, or at least the existing content. Update 3 is out, too, so there's new things to do.

The alternative idea is Final Fantasy XIV, the MMORPG. Andrew's a veteran player of this, whereas I've never touched it before, so he'd be sort of guiding me through it while leveling up a new class on his end. I don't have a lot to say about this one because I don't really have a history with it, but I've been curious about it. I don't think the usual FF/JRPG curse applies because MMORPGs are a whole other beast. I'm game to try something new.
