I don't really spend much time investigating souls-likes pre-release because the interesting parts of the genre are so incompatible with being presented via trailer or press release. And that's on top of how I don't really pay much attention to pre-release hype for games to begin with aside from registering that the game exists and what its release date is.

2017-10-27 04:10:09 +0000 UTCI'm glad that even with the expansion in variety and allowingnof long rpg style games in the nominations, people still tend to gravitate towards the two genres I consider your foundation which are puzzle/explorative games and soulslike games. Speaking of such, have you seen much of the Code Vein game that is in production? The gameplay prerelease footage looks like they have quite a bit of tweaking to do with mechanics and other items, but it seems to have an interesting and fairly solid concept. Thoughts?
