About Cooldowns and frustrations !
Added 2018-11-04 18:53:42 +0000 UTCSo everyone who has won a request on a sunday probs has experienced this and it is something i want to adress and most importantly discuss with you guys so we hopefully find a solution
The issue:
I won on sunday but the "off cooldown" date you gave me is nearly a week more than what my tier should be.
How it happens:
Lets assume i stream everyday, and everday is request stream.
Person in question won on a sunday and is blocked for a week:
Monday - first day on cd - still blocked
Tuestday - 2nd day on cd - still blocked
[...]
Sunday - 7th day on cd- still blocked
Monday - 8th day off cd - not blocked anymore
But since i do not stream on mondays and regular request streams are on weekends - i give you the date of the next saturday - 13 days !!
And yeah i can see this causeing alot of frustration:/
Why i did it:
My assumption was that everyone would participate on each request stream therefore days a person has to wait, taken into account weeks where they do not win, averages out over time. And that still happens
but that doesn't change the fact that it feels still shitty or takes into account that some people only participate on sundays.
Solutions so far:
1.Have Sunday winner roll over so, saturday winners still have to wait a week but can participate next sunday. While sunday winners can participate on the following sunday again.
2. Change cooldowns so that everyone has to wait x weeks - saturday winners can participate on a saturday after x weeks instead of the usuall sunday
3. Change Request Stream Schedule
if I stream on a Wednsday instead of a Sunday the wait time i closer to the average as a whole.
Your suggestions wanted !!
