WHAT SHOULD I MAKE A LECTURE ABOUT? ACCEPTING YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

This is not a poll - this is me asking you for suggestions on what to include in a future poll where I let Patrons vote on a video topic (I said I'd do so if i passed 100 patrons, which I have!). If you're a patron your suggestions will hold more weight obviously but I'll open suggestions up to anyone. The eventual poll picking which suggestion actually becomes a video, though, will only allow patrons or youtube channel members a vote.

So if you've got a thing in mind that you think would make a perfect Ben Saint lecture topic, let me know down below, and feel free to make a case arguing why you think it's a good fit. Suggest as many as you want, at this point there's no bad ideas. I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think!

I am being put under duress, jokingly, by my group of friends that I watch your videos with to cover the FATE/ Series.

In the vein of FLCL and it's sequels, a retrospective on Eva & the rebuilds could be really neat. My personal pick though would be one for Gunbuster and Diebuster. If my memory recalls properly PCP had tons of talking about it, and how important it was to you. Another idea is Infinite Jest/DFW, but I know that's probably a hefty task. Final suggestion would be MLP, could be a fun trip down memory lane for you and the audience. Regardless I had resub and keep supporting an artist whose work is a huge inspiration to me!

Dr. Crime

the history of A.A milne / winnie the pooh franchise?

Tutu

check out the Animorphs lecture by the PCP, ben was involved with it

SNK fighting games. Art of Fighting/Fatal Fury/King of Fighters/ETC. They are mostly connected but KOF is also technically a separate timeline.

I'm a bit late with a suggestion but I have always wanted to catch up on the Animorphs series. It's not as multi-media as Bionicle, but it has always held a similar level of mystique for me. Since the bulk of the lore is simply a series of books, there is less disassociated information to gather and more a timeline to summarize. Still, I would love to get the Chronicler's take on the large story.

Metal Gear Solid, but story explained in game release order, not in-universe chronological so as not to spoil stuff revealed in later games, much like the Bionicle video. I see a lot Bionicle lore videos that start at the very beginning of the timeline, which spoils the story and ruins the fun and intrigue in my opinion and a lot of MGS lore videos do the same thing. So I think it would be unique and fun for an MGS lecture to take the viewers through the intended way to consume the story, like you did with Bionicle

Adding onto this, I think theres actually quite a bit of artistic merit to the Epilogues that Gibbon didn't give credit to in her lecture, and even some (but not much) to homestuck beyond canon, so examining them either in the same video or in a sequel one a la the battle network video would be great. There are like 3 videos talking about the epilogues total, so any analysis and retrospective would kind of be breaking new ground.

Lukeshef

Please dear god homestuck. Such an important work of art for the internet and me and I believe you, and the biggest youtube video on it being Sarah Z's half baked one on the "controversy" is a god damn tragedy.

Guilty Gear since the anime wrapped up, maybe. I think Metroid is a good clusterfuck but might already be too saturated with other content creators. If you hate yourself you could always do Yakuza. Edit: Sonic lore, duh.

AnomalousRaven

Resident Evil has surprisingly confusing lore. Might make for a good video

TectonicImprov

Platoon of Power Squadron

Through Lidless Eye

Can you do one on Star Wars Legends?

Some pretty good suggestions already in the comments. I'll spitball a bit. Want to give honorable mention to some previously mentioned in other places like Ben Saint lore explained, PCP 101, or perhaps... The Brony Lecture? πŸ€” (Jk, unless?). I guess in a sense it also depends on the goal. If we're trying to breach Ben Saint containment maybe more "popular" things should be tackled. If it's just like F it whatever goes... Tons of possibilities I guess. How about Tekken, Homestuck(?), Disco Elysium, or anything else you are passionate about. Bernie lecture? Actual history lecture like communism?

SliferSean

I know a guy who made one on Gx and might make more.

The Yakuza series could really use a comprehensive lecture. It is the perfect storm, a wacky yet engaging plot that was told to western audiences in a non linear order.

Cameron Clark

Street Fighter lore

Gigalithic

My favorite lectures of yours are the ones on niche comic creators I'd never heard of like Lazerbot, Kokoro Wish, and CWC. So if there's any more of those you're passionate about, I'd rather watch that than a lecture about a popular franchise

VenikNV

Bestguyever Bens brother already has like 3-4 lectures about it

Vandus Hammer

BestGuyEver his brother already did that and will do a second one soon

Hell beast wars/ beast machines would be a cool lecture i think

Fishbone2304

G1 trasformers continuity or the idw transformers continuity

Fishbone2304

could also segue into a touhou lecture

Tutu

Yugioh Anime. There's like 4-5 different timelines to tackle there.

FakeTokuFan

maybe Toby Fox's career to cover something you might know more about? it's been discussed in videos but im sure you could bring a unique perspective to it, as an indie artist that has worked on similar projects
