Status update 2018-06-01
Added 2018-06-01 08:03:35 +0000 UTCStress is building, two of my software development clients kept me busy with last-minute changes for their milestones.
What I recently did:
New Alpha 11 for Alpha supporters
It took longer than expected and I never got around to
Oculus Go / GearVR Support
I didn't have as much time as I hoped, so I wasn't able to finish support for Oculus. But things are coming along nicely and controller support now works very good.
What I hope to accomplish next:
More Oculus Support
I'll still focus on Samsung GearVR and Oculus Go. I'll have to setup everything that interaction with Oculus Home and Settings work smoothly as well that it shows up in the library.
Alpha 11: repair iOS support and prepae release to Beta supporters
I still need to fix the iOS support and also Beta supporters will need to get their hands on it in the next 14 days or so. Or maybe I'll be much further with development and go with a version that has updated Oculus support? We'll see…
Create test binaries for shops
You won't have access to these, but I will start creating and uploading binaries to the shops so that I can better finalize them and make the relase smoother for me.
And that's it for today. As always, I'm looking forward to your comments.
Comments
You can use Google Cardboard with iOS devices and it works quite well. Never experienced any drifting which is a common problem with Cardboard + Android.
