2020-07-16 01:22:42 +0000 UTCI don't think the reason Otto wants to get close to Roswaal is meant to be a mystery. Otto is a merchant and Roswaal is a wealthy land owner. Otto's motive is money. It's made clearer in the books where there are extra lines of dialogue and you get more of Subaru's thoughts. But it was never a secret.
