Dandelion Wings

Haaa so I had a fresh nib I wanted to break in and a sketch of Dandelion that I've been wanting to finish! So I did this little traditional inked illustration! I really do miss doing these, I love inking. Maybe I should do a little series? I DO have some left over odd-size paper from other projects.

May has been very busy for me, in a weird way. I don't want to get too into it, but it's been and will be pretty emotionally draining. So it was nice to do something small and fun like this....

Basil + Dandelion + Demon Basil pt 2

This was a personal challenge for me, and just for me. See, at the beginning of this month, I made two sketches. I ended up going with the other one, which was the last exclusive illustration. But this sketch haunted me. I really really wanted to make it work!

Just... anatomy! Posing! Composition! It's hard! It's all hard! And to make it sexy? Impossible. This was entirely a sunk-cost fallacy of an illustration; I had already spent so much time on it, might as well finish it. B...

Just some fun bit of angst for your morning! Is this canon, vaguely! I don't know if this is exactly how this scene would go, but it's definitely an issue in their relationship. No matter how much he love Dandelion, Father Basil has duties on Earth and doesn't want to stay in Hell.

Ahhh, I feel bad because there was originally going to be backgrounds to this but then I immediately gave up on that. I haven't been that ambitious recently when it comes to backgrounds or environments lately...

Ginger + Thistle timelapse

Hey there, this the timelapse for the Ginger and Thistle illustration! I THINK this should work but let me know if you have any problems. This is my first time trying this lol.

Ginger x Thistle

God I finally drew these two together lol. 

They're fun in a real opposite attracts way- Ginger as the strong willed spicy one compared to Thistle being a stubborn stoic. They would definitely butt heads a lot. Come to think of it, I haven't really drawn a scene with these two either- though I haven't drawn many scene with Ginger in the first place. My bad.

Lipstick

This came about because someone asked if lipstick would show up on Dandelion. Of course it would, but I wanted to do a proper demonstration.  

Father Basil looks real cute in lipstick, though I don't think he would be the type to wear it often. Even beyond wrapping his head around the gender and vanity aspect of it, he's just not very fussy about his appearance. Every once in a while though, he likes feeling pretty.

But it's always worth it to fluster Dandelion!

On retrospring someone asked -ahem- "which character eats fruits in the sluttiest most pussy eating way?" This would be, of course, Dandelion. And someone asked if we could SEE the fruit eating in action. So I thought, oh, this could be a fun way to draw Dandelion's tongue in action.

Thus I made this lol. 

I actually like how Dandelion's faces turned out in this. Been trying to loosen up a bit with my lines.

Wrangling

Hello everyone! How's it going? 

This is actually an older sketch of Aster from a few months ago that I dusted off. I couldn't figure it out at the time (which you can probably tell in the first draft lol) but I like the flow of it.

I've been thinking about Aster a bit because I'm actually starting to write the first past of the Temptations of Father Basil as prose, where he's a major figure in it. 

It's also fun, in a story full of jerks with heart varying degrees...

Chain and Collar

Hello folks!

This something I've been fiddling with for a couple of weeks now.

How does the chain look? I ended up using a brush and drawing on top of it for extra detail but I wonder if it's too stiff looking. Like there isn't a sense of weight. Works fine for a little comic like this, but I dunno about a more detailed illustration. Will also be useful for the Demon Basil illustration I'm working on.

Topping pt 1 + 2

People have been demanding more Father Basil topping and I obliged. I've mentioned this before, but he really is a service top through and through. He just wants to make people happy! Dandelion, on the other hand, finds this kind of vulnerability uncomfortable. Thus he only really trusts Basil to do it.

I really winged it with the anatomy here, tbh. You can see me doing some course correction in the second draft of the sketch lol.

Blood Letting Comic

People asked for more Hollyhock, you get more Hollyhock :) How do they keep getting Father Basil to do this? Good question!

I admit this is one I did in a bit of a haze. I like keeping these comics loose and fast, a looser method to keep them fun and something to unwind with after work. Do they look alright? I'll keep experimenting.

Ginger Butt :)

SO I got a new sketchbook recently, something a little nicer and bigger than my usual scribble notebook. I wanted a place to experiment more and do some nice drawings. Of course the first thing I draw is Ginger's butt.

Dandelion Outfits

Dandelion is canonically a dandy- he loves clothes and fashion. Which is why it's criminal that I haven't drawn him in other outfits! I also have a perchant for historical clothing. So I had a lot of fun with this little series.

This, my friends, was an exercise in stubborness than anything. It feels like it took me forever to finish this illustration and get it to work. Which is strange because it's shouldn't have been that hard! I just really liked the idea, especially since I've gotten a better idea about Malum and her design. And who doesn't like a giant demon woman?

Ah well, I'm just happy I reached a point where I'm satisfied with it. Let me know what you think in the comments!
