I haven't been able to get across town to the fabric store, so I am without a actual zipper and the trim for the top of the corset... But since the corset boning came in, I wanted to test it out and get an idea of the fit without always having to hold on to the back of the darn thing... So I stitched in a temporary zipper~

(Yes, Silky's bodice does not feature corset lacing like I originally thought, so she's getting a zipper... And since the store doesn't sell purple zippers that open at the bottom, she's getting a pink one just like Ariel. xD Fortunately, also like Ariel, she has other pink in the outfit, so it won't totally stand out. The current zipper is the same green as my shirt, so it definitely won't be staying. xD)

It's a little wide at the top, but that will be hidden, and I need to tuck her blouse into it anyway... And the width at the bottom is necessary for stuffing in my giant skirt... which is still at 0% completion.

I also made good progress with the capelet, so I'll share that soon!
