My main thing about going outdoors is you gotta be well prepared, have the right vehicle recovery tools, emergency equipment etc. Weather changes quickly in high elevation, and micro climates can catch ya off guard. All things learned through experience.

The Boy Scouts had it right when they had us learn the motto "Be Prepared". The "What if?" game has served me well in all aspects of my life. That was certainly a good turn you did that day.
