Special Anniversary

Many of you may not know this, but I am a cancer survivor. When I was 19 I was diagnosed with cancer and went through removal surgery and 15 rounds of radiation therapy.

So this month I am celebrating 17 years cancer-free because of my wonderful care team at the local hospital! (We live next to a major cancer treatment center luckily). I was young and scared and they took wonderful care of me, despite me not having any way to pay them (I had no insurance at 19).

I usually don't talk about this, but in a few weeks, is also the anniversary of my mom's passing from cancer 11 years ago. Life can be weird like that, giving you a good thing while also giving you a bad thing. My oldest son was only 2 months old when she passed, so life gives and it takes.

I want to also say how much I appreciate all of you who support me here on Patreon. I know times are tough and everything is super expensive. I do appreciate your deciding to spend your hard-earned money on me!
