Dev Plans (December 1st - February 1st)

Hello Backers!

With this release Dungeon 6 actually was NOT completed. Unfortunately, implementing the missions and events for this dungeon took a bit longer than I expected; however, I allotted an extra month for Dungeon 6 when I was planning the schedule so it's within expectations thankfully.

Anyways, I'm happy with how the missions and such turned out for Dungeon 6 and am looking forward to finishing up the remainder of it before moving onto side-content and polishing up the game.

Besides this game, I've also continued working on the next game's planning in my free time. My hope is that the quality of the content in the next game will be much higher; which means a much better art style presentation and gameplay loop. I'll touch more on this later.

On the art side of things, the CG's are reaching the end of Dungeon 3 and will be moving on to Dungeon 4 soon. Similarly, the Pixel Loops are about to wrap up for Dungeon 4 and will be moving on to Dungeon 5 as well.

Anyways, let's move onto this next release!

1. Main Story Implementation: Dungeon 6 Conclusion

In the next release I'll be implementing the conclusion of Dungeon 6 along with the rest of the corruption event line. With these implemented Dungeon 6 will be closed out and it will lead the main story into it's final chapter and the overarching villain.

Unfortunately we actually won't be seeing him for awhile though. However, the last domain will be similar in scale to Dungeon 6 and will have a unique mechanic that separates it from the previous Dungeons, similar to how Dungeon 6 was done.

2. Feature Implementation: Auto-Loss and Dungeon Boss Skip

The cries of the players have reached my ears! This next release I will implement an auto-loss and a boss fight skip feature for players looking to avoid the hassle of dodging and grinding!

I think the only place the auto-loss would really be used is for the boss fights as regular fights don't have lewd events tied to defeat. So I'll likely just make it so there's an interactable event before each boss fight where players can choose what they want to trigger.

3. Side-Content: Red-Light District

The Red-Light District, an area that was implemented when Dungeon 4 was introduced. Rumors of the 3 Factions have spread through the city, but their content has yet to be introduced or implemented.

The Casino, The Strip Club, and The Drug Den all have unique paths the player can traverse down. But be careful, going down any path may lead to irreversible changes.

This side-content is the last major expansion the game will have outside of the main story. Unfortunately, I'm expecting it to take quite a while to implement fully. The entire area will be manipulated by the player's choices and who you decide to side with so I want to take my time to implement it properly.

Outside of this, the only content remaining will be for the side-characters and any smaller side-quest I decide to implement.

4. Implementing Backers Choice

As always, I'll be implementing backers choice. Unfortunately, for the past few releases I've made it a habit of releasing them a week or two after the initial version was released. Currently Sapphire and Megara events need to be implemented, so I'll be doing that and releasing it in the next week or two.

(With the end of the year coming, I'm expecting to get busier at work, so I might have to work a bit longer than usual to finish up stuff before year end.)

5. Next Game Development

Wasting time on this again? Not exactly. Well... Yes. Recently I've finished a large portion of the game design and planning, which has led me to start looking for an artist capable of producing a high quality art style.

I've begun the commissioning process for the main character, and am hoping to land on an art style that you would see in games of a more official nature. It's extremely important to me that the next game is higher quality than my current one, which means better graphics, a more appealing and cohesive art direction, and better gameplay.

Below is a WIP sketch of the main character. (Design not final)

If I end up happy with the art style, I'll begin working with the artist to commission the art necessary for the introduction of the next game.

Sería bueno que después continuara más contenido sobre el control mental y el skinsuit como Ber contenido donde la protagonista ase migas y luego una a una son echas skinsuit por quis algún enemigo misterioso con la idea de reemplazarlas y corromper a la protagonista o donde aya un enemigo que poseído a sus amigas con l idea de que poco a poco la corrompan al la protagonista además y sería bueno que si ubiera un saltador de capítulos por ejemplo si ya viste todo asta la masmorra uno entonces la posibilidad de saltarte eso ya que lo abrías busto

I'm in dungeon 5 and I don't know the password, I've looked around and all my guesses were incorrect, could I have the password, or how to get it?

You know the big desire myself and many people here have is Mind Control. Very much hoping for a strong mind control theme. That said, City of Secrets and our girl is such a love to many of us. Im not quite ready to move along just yet

Next game’s character’s design is neat, but I feel a big appeal of City of Secrets is that Emma starts with a really good body, which is pretty abnormal for the genre, since they usually have the body progress as the story plays out, which limits how later cgs/events can look since in theory the player could’ve reached them at any stage of growth. Basically, what I’m saying is, I’d appreciate if her figure was more curvaceous like Emma.
