Here's some food photos as promised ! (●♡∀♡))ヾ☆*。
Taiwan is known as a place with lots of delicious and cheap street food. I'm not much of a food person and I usually avoid street food because my stomach is quite fragile hahahahaha !! Since I'm all the way here ~ why not just try some ?
My best friend Hermes flew in from Tokyo today so we went for sight-seeing ! Visited a temple to pray ~ I don't know if you believe in temples or praying but I personally feel that temples in Taiwan and Japan is quite strong lol. Usually what I pray or wish for will come true ~ and I love to buy charms ! In Japan it's known as Omamori , I have charms for love , health , good fortune and career ! * tries not to sound like a psycho *
We visited the famous Shilin Nigh Market at night . I'm ashamed to say that I got conned by a FRUIT STALL . I love mangoes so I bought a mango from the first fruit stall I saw. I didn't ask for the price because how expensive can a mango in Taiwan Night Market be ? Come on...... THIS MANGO TURNS OUT TO BE 300 Taiwan Dollar which is about Rm 40. Very expensive for a mango , for that price you can get a basket of it in Malaysia. * cries *
I posted that I was at the night market and I didn't read my messages because I'm busy exploring the night market.... my friend commented " don't get conned by fruit stall ya " and I read it too late !!! HAHAHAHA !! I feel so stupid now fml. Apparently , most of the fruit stalls cheats people money ( it's a well known fact ) so if you ever visit Shilin Night Market : DO NOT BUY ANY FRUITS. That's the moral of the story that I learnt today lol
The other food are pretty good though. I love Taiwan Sausages , they are big and juicy. Their Sweet Potato Balls are delicious as well ~ my fav drink would be Papaya Milk ! I also love their Braised Meat Rice , Rice Dumplings , Thin Noodles and Sandwiches.
Tomorrow I'm visiting JiuFen , the famous place that is said to inspire Spirited Away. There is a famous cat village nearby as well hopefully the weather is good I might be able to visit there too !
p/s : please don't laugh at my mango story my dear patrons ;-;
