Resident Evil: Episode XII - Sanctuary From The Nightmare

It was obvious to Claire that Jill was injured. As she helped prop her up, the exhaused Claire could feel every muscle in Jill’s body was tight and tense. “Just a little further to go. You can make it.” Claire told Jill, trying to will her friend onwards. She just hoped that the anxiety swirling around in her, didn’t come out in her voice.

As the two of them stepped over the bodies of the dead and tried not to slip in pools of blood - the ever-present fear that a Tyrant could be just around the corner occupying their minds - Jill and Claire walked down a flight of stairs to find themselves in the garage of the RCPD building.

Apart from the odd damaged squad car, the garage looked relatively normal; a small slice of pre-outbreak normality in this never ending nightmare. Jill couldn’t take anymore, she needed to rest. It was clear that the encounters with various horrors and monsters had taken its toll on the soldier. Claire eased Jill down onto a tattered garden folding chair. With an audible groan, Jill’s body began to relax. “Okay, I’ll go find us some water, God knows we need it.” Claire said, kneeling next to Jill. “Looks like there’s only two ways to get in. I’ll block off the entrances and we can catch our breath - gather ourselves.”

All Claire got in response was a quick nod and a smile through gritted teeth. Better than earlier at least. The rest will do her good…I hope. Claire thought to herself, trying not to let the anxiety get the better of her. Pushing up on weak knees, Clairew set off to make the clammy garage as secure as possible.

And with that part 12 of this series is done. Happy with how this one ended up. Struggled a bit in the middle but I feel that I brought it back by the end. Plus I liked the lighting and colors of this set. I know it’s very green, but I wanted to capture the look I did for parts 4 and 5 for this one and I can say that I achieved that.

I was aiming for around 95 images but I just couldn’t think of many more poses that wouldn’t break the flow of it or just feel like I’m repeating poses. So I ended up leaving it at 89 images.

First time using the Hunter model and it was better than I thought. Outside of the arms being a pain to pose it was better than I feared. Once again the Licker’s tongue was annoying to pose but sadly there’s no easier way to get around the tidiness of it. It is what it is.

But overall I feel proud with this one. It’s a good edition to my RE series. As always I love all of your feedback, feel free to share with me any thoughts or suggestions.
