it's so painful to watch our powerful Rin be so pliant, dissociated, and broken in front of akito. Rin ended her journey of breaking the curse, and that's okay. Sometimes it's okay to end that journey for the sake of your mental health. And there's no need to feel guilty for not being 'tough' enough for the fight. She shouldn't need to throw all of herself into this journey...sometimes you need to prioritise yourself, otherwise you won't be able to recover faster than the hits.

She’s spent her whole life playing this role of “God”. Which in my opinion as a Christian, Akito here is more like a demon or the devil than God. The soma clan is much like a cult in this way like previous comments had said in earlier episodes. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 of the NIV version of the Bible states, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”. This is Gods love. As you can see from what this verse says, it’s almost the exact opposite of what Akito says and does. On the other end it’s almost exactly what Tohru says does and stands for. I see Tohru as Jesus in this way, and Akito being like a demon or the devil. I hope this helps! Also my name is not Psalm sadly (it would be pretty cool!) but my last name is Garcia. And the name Psalm is a book in the Bible. Which has one of my favorite verses Psalms 120:1 that says (King James Version) “ In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me”.
