2024-11-21 15:17:34 +0000 UTCFun fact: when the joker blows up the hospital, there's a moment where the explosives didn't completely explode. That was not intentional. Heath ledger improvised the scene where he's trying to get the detonator to work while the crew worked behind the scenes to get the rest of the explosives to blow up. His reaction when they do blow up is entirely real. His improvisation was just so good that you thought it was part of the movie. You can find video on YouTube of them talking about this.

So when you thought Batman went for Dent on purpose, I barely noticed. But then you didn't stop saying it lol maybe around 10 times. Just thought that was funny. Great reaction though.... it is def a classic

I've collected several collectible figures since and even some comic books. I was blown away like everybody else with Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker. Him and Jack Nicholson from the 1989 Batman are the best Joker. The film you saw with Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face and Jim Carrey as The Riddler is Batman Forever from 1995 :)

The "MCU" in this movie was funny as it just means "Major Crimes Unit"....this movie came out before the first Iron Man which started the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, Comic Book movies can be amazing...hopefully you get to the Marvel movies eventually as many are also excellent.

While that aspect of Bruce's transformation into Batman is missing from most film adaptations, it is definitely within Matt Reeves' The Batman (2022). I highly recommend that one as it leans into the Film Noir take of the character. This was a fantastic reaction. Thanks, Coby.

As he says he shows how they can't control everything. Absolutely class film I could never watch it enough it's a all time classic for me.
