Hey Patreonners! We are so glad you're loving this week's episode; we think it is pretty special. We all wanted more Ros & Ali (@relational_lives) in our lives, so we asked them if they would do something just for you lovely people, and they said yes!

If you have a question for them, please go ahead and ask below. They will choose a few to answer on a bonus video that we will share with you all on here very soon.

Can you speak more on academic validation and how ADHD can affect and influence that?

What does it say about me if I have a huge crush on a random trombone player at my school who’s three years above me? I’ve had one conversation with them all about becoming a drum major like them when I’m older, but I follow them on instagram and think about them more than I should… Is that wrong?

If you could have a single hour-long session with anyone to learn about their brain, dead or alive, who would you pick?

i am a social work student working with clients for the first time in a therapist-adjacent role. i was placed in a supportive housing group focused on harm reduction (we’re housing first). I’m working for a pretty small team (5 people, including me) and servicing a lot of clients (60+ people) in a wide variety of areas. It’s more field work than you typically see in a social work practicum and I am SO grateful for the opportunity. I love the work and I really believe in the program we are setting up. However, I am finding that it’s incredibly heavy work. The populations I am serving carry some really intense, painful traumas. And as an American right now, it is exhausting trying to navigate aspects of our healthcare system while working with a non-profit, especially given the current administration. My question to you guys, as more seasoned practitioners, is this: how do you prevent burn-out early on in a human-services career that limits your ability to talk about what you are seeing/hearing due to confidentiality?
