Is Anabel a bit of a ****?

Writing Anabel content this week. It's quite strange giving character to someone who has been in the game for quite a long time. You are used to seeing her around and interacting with her in some events, but most of her character is you just filling in the blanks yourself.

While writing her conflict with Dani, I kind of tried to make it a sort of "both sides have a point" type thing. I don't think that came across at all, but I still like the direction it went in.

For those who haven't read the Dani or Anabel lore dump yet, when they arrived in Blaston they were dumped into a refugee camp/quarantine zone and had to live there for a while. As you can imagine, it was not a nice place and fresh corpses would turn up most mornings.

Anabel is pissed at Dani for consorting with the types of people who likely created those corpses. Utterly refuses to accept that Dani is struggling both financially and mentally. She has a bit of a "we went though the same things and I am okay, therefore so should she be" mentality.

This frankly makes her come across as a bit of a judgemental or uncaring ****. But I kind of like it. I am not a fan of writing perfect characters and for her to be a generally nice person, but have such a huge character flaw, to the point it is destroying her own friendship, is something I am taking a liking to.
