Added 2024-03-01 06:30:01 +0000 UTCInsomnia continues to creep toward its final form. Here’s the tl;dr of what it gains this month:
- Art for every single faction in all three settings
- The Herald, a nyarlathotep sort of eldritch being who presages the terrible Dread Leviathan. This is the fourth and final Eldritch monster!
- The Imp, a contract-striking fiend with a malevolent agenda. This is the first monster in the Daemonic set -- the last set we’ve got planned for now.
And here’s what we’ve got on the queue for it over the next updates:
- A cover and logo for the book.
- Three more monsters: the Seraph, the Cult, and the Lamb.
- The Investigator gets a chapter at the rear of the book.
- All of the NPCs for every setting need art.
- We need about a dozen other illustrations throughout.
And that’s about it!
The book is cruising towards a more finished product, and after the next update with the final three monsters, it’ll be mostly art updates until it’s finished! After that, we’ll see whether Insomnia is destined for a Kickstarter, a limited-quantity print run, or something else entirely.
