Calling All Proofreaders!
Added 2017-12-06 02:14:17 +0000 UTCHigh Seas is done (at last) and I've decided to finally make proofreading a more official process. If you're a detail-oriented person and would enjoy helping us proofread our books, send an email to middlefingerofvecna@gmail.com with the subject line "Proofreading". From there, you can get access to our book a couple of days (or hours -- these come down to the wire sometimes) early, if you're willing to read through it and help us spot typos, grammar errors, and other nonsense.
Also, I'm going to try out something a little experimental with this: rather than having everyone proofread independently, I'm going to give everyone access to a Public Issue Doc, where everyone reports the problems they find in one place. Hopefully, this should reduce duplicate issues and allow people to divide their efforts a little more efficiently. Or it'll degrade into a chaotic mess. I guess we'll see!
