Expansion Pack
Added 2017-06-01 05:30:01 +0000 UTCAt Mage Hand Press, we publish a lot of subclasses. Just about two new ones every week, in fact! Between our efforts and those of others, players have been blessed with a wealth of choice when building their characters. The same cannot be said, however, about our in-house base classes. Even our Complete Class expansions can only include a handful of new archetypes, and they can always use more.
That’s where the Expansion Pack comes in! With thirteen brand new subclasses for our alchemist, craftsman, gunslinger, warden, warmage and witch classes, players will be able to create a host of novel and unique heroes. Each of these subclasses brings something exciting to the table, taking our beloved base classes in interesting new directions and opening up whole worlds of possibility.
As an added bonus, we have also included fresh bomb formulae, alchemical discoveries, crafting techniques, and witch hexes. It’s a veritable feast of new character options!

Um, question, are you going to add archetype-specific discoveries for the Venomsmith and Researcher? I really like both, and I want to see them have equal opportunity as the rest of the subclasses.

2017-08-13 15:15:16 +0000 UTCI would rule that Warmage Edge is applies to multiple attacks the same way that offhand weapons add modifiers. That way, Card Trick does the same overall damage as firebolt. (1d10-4d10).

2017-08-12 15:37:55 +0000 UTCA multifaceted question here related to Warmage Edge, Card Trick, and also Deck of Fate: 1) Do the additional cards from Card Trick count as iterative attacks so you have to roll hit for each card, or do all cards hit or miss depending on the roll? And if it's a roll for each card, can you target multiple creatures with it? 2) On Card Trick, is Warmage Edge applied on each instance of damage for each card? 3) Is the damage bonus from Deck of Fate applied onto each instance of damage rolled from Card Trick?

2017-06-20 05:08:17 +0000 UTCThe 17th level feature is actually just getting another discovery. At that level, those are pretty potent, so it's worth the capstone.

2017-06-20 05:07:15 +0000 UTCWhere is the Reserchers 17th level feature???

2017-06-20 04:44:20 +0000 UTCI would say that yes, it works something like that. For each pull, you take two cards and keep the more favorable one

2017-06-08 01:53:57 +0000 UTCOh, ok! Also, how would the Cheat cantrip (with the Legendary Hustler trick) work with something like the Deck of Many Things? You don't roll for that, you just pick an amount of cards. Does that mean you can put the cards back in the deck and re-pick?

2017-06-06 22:00:20 +0000 UTCHmm...that should just be Intelligence modifier.

2017-06-06 21:55:56 +0000 UTCBy the way, on the House of Cards Warmage archetype, when it says you have a hand equal to your spell casting modifier, does it mean intelligence + proficiency like the Attack modifier, or just intelligence?

2017-06-03 19:58:43 +0000 UTCI just wanted to know if the material component for antenna up is right. It should be gold piece instead of weighted die, right?

2017-06-03 19:57:59 +0000 UTCThere's also the possibility that one or two might eventually be published for free on the blog (though probably not soon). That would give you separate pdfs.

2017-06-02 09:50:15 +0000 UTCLol, no worries. I can save out specific sections myself :D Oh, and I do like it. Very nicely done!

2017-06-01 19:04:02 +0000 UTCYOU SHALL TAKE WHAT WE GIVE YOU AND LIKE IT! *pant, wheeze, gasp* Yeah, we may do something like that. Add this stuff into the Complete books, potentially.

2017-06-01 19:02:53 +0000 UTCIs there any possibility that you might release each of these classes in a separate PDF? It would allow me to organize them properly ;P
