BACKSTAGE Updates (and some Upcoming News)

Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know BACKSTAGE is almost finished! I have been bad at posting updates lately, but amongst the 41 pages total over half of them are completely finished and the rest have had their flats finished (For those unfamiliar with the term “flats” are the solid colors places under the lineart without any shading applied). Flats are essentially the longest part of the coloring process for me, which means the full comic is basically almost finished, aside from adding a shading layer to the remaining pages as well as some additional details I’ve been adding to these pages like grain and ink spatter.

I’ll be posting the full comic as soon as it’s done, which will definitely be this week! I’m super stoked to be so close to finishing this comic, so I hope it’s well worth the wait for everyone!
As for the rest of the month, I have been tossing around a few ideas for another comic to work on this month but I think I’ll leave it to you all to help me choose this month’s project. I’ll write up a few pitches to present you guys to look at and get everyone to vote on which one they’d like to see.
