Lenora was looking for her own little holiday adventure, travelling with very little and letting the wind take her wherever, Perhap, Aleicia though to herself, a little trip to Sinnoh would be even more fun...
It's always the classic thing to catch a bird Pokémon early on in the game, but I actually quite like the Starly line, especially Staraptor which I had a lot of success with in an old team. It'll be fun to see Lenora evolve uwu
