Really good game. I applied the 0.9.2 patch but still have the second office scene over and over. Is it because I'm loading a save from 0.9 ? If yes is it possible to fix it or I need to make a new game ?? Thanks I will surely support this project if I see it growing up a bit ! :) PS : Sorry for my english

Hi, I'm really sorry, but I don't understand why or what problem you are still facing. I'm not getting any problem reports any more since I uploaded the latest files. So all should be working again. You probably loaded an existing save with the old upload. You can fix it using the console. Load the save game, then open the console with shift+O, then type: natasha.create_topics_list() after that type: exit to close the console save the game - after that you will have the chat options for natasha

As far as Darkhound's dedication to this game & his Patrons, I couldn't have more praise! Yes, there are some bugs which are hard to fix, but he gets things out quickly. Remember, it's a big sandbox and he's just one guy who's filling it as fast as he can. I think all the patrons should pitch in to point out problems with the game as well as suggest improvements. A few months ago I suggested 11 different things I thought that the game should have. Now with the phone being able to zoom in, he's delivered on about 7 of them. That's great! This game is my favorite, too, & I remember when the time count was broken so that everything took twice as long, I had to give up playing it until it was fixed, but if you are patient, I think you'll see everything worked out to your satisfaction.

I applied the fixes (I probably did something wrong, I'll try again), but I still can't chat with Natasha. However, if you're having this trouble, you can still play the game with her by giving her gifts (1 per day) until her stats are high enough to hug & kiss, then walk on the beach. It's more challenging, but I found it fun.

Myself personally Do not understand everyones problem. It is a free game and i been playing it since i saw 008 And i liked it very much.So that is why i became a patron! Not because i expect certain stuff right away (even though thats great) and all the trouble people have been having i cannot understand.The first posted 0092 file yesterday had problems but Darhound saw it an fixed it and i myself have been playing it since without any errors. except the save game version number but that only happens on loading your first save in new game just once.I myself have played it on 2 different laptops the farthest i have played so far is 19 days in the game and all works fine. all i did is exactly what i posted in response to another post on here to Daniella C well anyhow i am off to start a new game on my main laptop i use for games now i am done testing for myself.Also btw @Darkhound nice poker play with natasha thumbs up

I never asked you to make the addons. I make them. It is a service I provide. Not a burden for you. If you don't like to get more frequent updates, don't get the partial updates and just wait for the next full version. If you think it more productive to complain instead of letting me help you, there is not much I can do about it.

It's not a free game if I donate $10 per month. I never asked for instant service I haven't been able to play the current game since bugfix 1 came out. I had a little trouble with version 8 getting the content add on but eventually got it. I've spent hours trying to get 9 alpha to merge with 902. All I get is a page full of exceptions. It is frustrating to me because this is my favorite game and I can't play it. Apparently mrgameandwatch didn't read the part of my post where I said I followed the loading instructions to the letter. I spend about $70 a month supporting about 10 game creators. None of the expect or ask supporters to make addons to their games to make them work or make them current.

I don't mean to sound rude, but both games are free...you don't have to donate to either of them. Furthermore, and correct me if I'm wrong Darkhound, this dev is working by his/her self as opposed to a team of people now working on Summertime Saga. Additionally, I've never had any real issue with running the game, are you trying to run the Windows version on Mac? Or vice-versa? Are you following his instructions on installing the game? Maybe you just need to start with a fresh install? Regardless, chill. It's a free game. You see more action in this game than any visual novel you have to pay for on steam. I'm just glad anyone is making anything even remotely like this, let alone for free.

Gotta say, I reverse what I said before about adding a new girl into the game. Natasha is awesome! Couldn't be happier she's in the game! That being said, I had the same issue that another poster above had, I didn't have any dialog options with her, but the console fix you said above worked! Really enjoyed her arrival at the island scene and beating her at poker! Please, keep up the hard work!

very frustrated! I've followed your instructions to the letter and all I can get is an error message that says an exception has occurred when I try to open the game. I've been donation to a game I can't play. Not happy. I support Dark Cookie, who has just published a new version of "summertime saga" He's had to add two bugfixes in two days. Both were complete ready to play games. Just click and go. I would like that kind of service from you. Whats the point of donating to a game if I get the same level of service from the pirates?

Amazing game!! Quick question though because I’m sure I’ve messed something up... when I installed the newest version of the 0.0.9.2 I am able to do everything except have dialogue with Natasha. No options for topics of conversation to boost affection and stuff. Any helpful suggestions on how to fix this? I’ve tried reinstalling 0.0.9 as well and nothing seems to work. Thanks!!

Have you downloaded the files again? There was an error in the early upload. About your error message. It seems you are using a save that has not only numbers inside the version number. Don't remember I did that, but possible. To fix it open the console when you get the error message using shift+O after that type the following: g_game_version = "0.0.8.0" after that type exit to close the console The click the reload button on the screen. This should fix your save game (if it isn't too old to be compatible). If you save the game again now and reload it, the error should no longer appear.

I'm getting errors. The one below is the first one I got after installing the fix and restarting the game. Then I got another when Heather appeared on the island at random. That was the 'natasha' not defined error mentioned above and resulted in her arrival scene skipping to the end. Also, Natashs is not in my contacts and is not available to invite to the island. It's a bit more complicated on a mac. Just check the folder structure (a little depper down until you find the folder named game). You should be able to see where the files need to be copied.

funny i started a new game this morning lol. It's all good i been resetting my game alot to see what changes happen in the game with the different girls. had to reset game anyhow joy kept texting like crazy for poker it was a pain in the ass.lol awesome game btw not many games can keep my interest. even for replay value. as my brain goes in 10 directions at once.Oops i seem to babbling lmao
